چکیده
From last thirty years, solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) gain much importance as drug delivery vehicle for enhanced of the drugs, proteins, nutraceuticals and cosmetics. SLNs defined a submicron size range nanoparticle with below 1000 nm are mainly composed lipids surfactants, capable incorporating both lipophilic hydrophilic drugs. also used controlled systems, targeted altered therapeutic efficacy purpose. A wide variety methods such double emulsion, solvent evaporation, ultra sonication, high-pressure homogenization microemulsion production. This review provides significance in highlighting on selection excipients, release mechanism, principles limitations associated their physicochemical surface morphological characterization.

Formulation and Physicochemical Characterization of Lycopene-Loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles.
PURPOSE Lycopene belongs to the carotenoids that shows good pharmacological properties including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer. However, as a result of very low aqueous solubility, it has a limited systemic absorption, following oral administration. METHODS Here, we prepared a stable lycopene-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles using Precirol® ATO5, Compritol 888 ATO and myristic...

متن کاملPreparation and Characterization of Thermoresponsive In-situ Forming Poloxamer Hydrogel for Controlled Release of Nile red-loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles
Preparation and characterization of thermoresponsive in-situ forming poloxamer hydrogel for controlled release of Nile red-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles. Nanoparticles (NPs) are cleared rapidly from systemic circulation and do not provide sustained action in most cases. To solve this problem, this investigation introduces an erodible in-situ forming gel system as potential vehicles for prolo...
متن کاملSustained release Curcumin loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles.
PURPOSE curcumin is poorly water soluble drug with low bioavailability. Use of lipid systems in lipophilic substances increases solubility and bioavailability of poorly soluble drugs. The aim of this study was to prepare curcumin loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles (SLNs) with high loading efficiency, small particle size and prolonged release profile with enhanced antibacterial efficacy. METHODS...
متن کامل15d-PGJ2-Loaded Solid Lipid Nanoparticles: Physicochemical Characterization and Evaluation of Pharmacological Effects on Inflammation
15-deoxy-Δ12,14-prostaglandin J2 (15d-PGJ2), a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor-γ (PPAR-γ) agonist, has physiological properties including pronounced anti-inflammatory activity, though it binds strongly to serum albumin. The use of solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) can improve therapeutic properties increasing drug efficiency and availability. 15d-PGJ2-SLN was therefore developed and in...
